i went back to 3.0.19 (2 versions back). If the problem persists I’ll go back to the oldest available version. (3 versions back). I also hooked Toslink back up.
I’d love for Alpine to make a refit system. Car audio isn’t what it was in the early 90s but hopefully we are onto something.

I would just go back one update. Mine worked perfectly with the prior software.

The updater can’t find the unit. I think the last update I did made it self destruct.
I like to think I know what I’m doing. I wrote software for embedded devices for almost 15 years so I have an idea of what I’m doing and how to treat sensitive electronics.
Maybe something was bad out of the box. Who knows. I just want my music back. Going back to what I know works for the time being. Nothing worse than no tunes.

Still no word on the release date for that alternative. I'm waiting to hear from my contacts but they have no idea either.
