Thanks. I am finally starting to push the sundowns a bit and wow the alpine can put out some power. I am surely not even coming close to the xmax of the sundowns or their capabilities but I am overwhelmed by the amount of bass they produce. I also have to admit I enjoy listen to the exhaust of the truck when the stereo is low...odd as i've never been a car/engine guy who likes exhaust sounds but even the 2.7 rumble impresses me.
yes i know the v8 kills it but still cool.
next upgrade is the 4" to 8" cluster when livinitupclusters gets a sport/km version instock.

Hi great members of this forum! I was thinking it is about time I add a DSP to my setup. I was hoping to do this myself as the shop that did original install only does commercial stuff now and I don't like the other shops in my area (give me bad vibes). Probably go with the dayton DSP.
Looking at my setup, would it be as easy as taking the power/ground/remote turn on out of my pioneer amp which powers my doors speakers. Routing the power/ground that currently goes to the pioneer to a distribution block, routing power from that block to back to the pioneer and to the dayton. the remote turn on would go to the dayton and not the pioneer.
Then taking the rca's out the pioneer, routing them the the dayton and new rca's from the dayton to the pioneer and alpine sub amp? can i use a distribution block for the power/grounds like this? seems like taking the power this way would be the easiest that I can think of.
hope that makes sense!
