Music for Testing a Sound System.

On a second note - Little Big Town had an incredible performance of Girl Crush on the Grammy's a few weeks back. The opening vocals and strings would show some good clarity on a good system.

First song I played after my sub install was "Illusionist" by Born of Osiris... I was so impressed. Then "The Weigh Down" by the Amity Affliction. Then "The Number of the Beast" by Iron Maiden... Metal is probably my favorite genre so I had to test the sound of a few different styles of it first
I'm surprised at how good lots of my country music sounds as well. Really digging the bass in "Head Over Boots" by John Pardi and "We Went" by Randy Houser - both really clean bass and it sounds great up loud!
I enjoy the occasional EDM and that kind of stuff... not as much as when I was in college, but I like listening to it every once in a while (a few songs from Porter Robinson, Madeon, Knife Party, old Pendulum). It's very impressive with a sub, gives a great massage!
Some things sound better than others, I've really only been disappointed with 1 artist so far... Parkway Drive. Unfortunately they're one of my favorite bands too! Just can't seem to get the EQ's right. Gave up and have been too lazy to keep tweaking it.

If you didn't see it - Google Gaga Sound of Music. It was a year ago during the Oscar's - live is all I'm aware of - just shows off her pure talent. I get why some would not be a fan, but I like what she does.

ENYA (her new album doesn't seem as "mastered" as i would have liked with her voice and all.)
Eagles - Hotel California (of course).
Selena Gomez-Good For You (Feat. Asap Rocky) (sound stage is awesome then all of a sudden BOOM with nice tight bass)
Scorpion - Wind of Change ( I like this one as well, great sound stage, I had to turn up my bass on this one to get the sound I like, but it sounds amazing.
Earth Wind Fire - lets groove, and some others...
Timbaland Feat. Onerepublic-Apologize
For testing bass
Dj. Laz --latin bass music....tons of bass..I remember the days with my 15's... Checkout Journey into bass, red alert, moments in bass, ...etc. etc..
Dem Jeans by Chingy
I wanna love you (edited version) - Akon Snoop Dog, great bass
Misc music that sounds nice
Meghan Trainor-Like Im Gonna Lose You (Feat. John Legend)
Richard Marx - Right Here (the setting of the sound stage sounds nice if your system can do the bass notes)
Metallica --sad but true, nothing else...unforgiven..etc.....
well off the top of my head thats it...

Yeah I love Maiden. They put on a great show. The others are modern metal/metalcore bands. Quite a different sound, but I've been listening to them since high school/college when they came out and still love them.
