there is that, also the rf 360.2, but no need for him to spend that much money when he has stated he is going to be getting a new head unit soon

Guess what's attached to those wires inside the amp, it's the same circuit as an external line level adapter. The signal level is the same coming from a line level or using the line level built into the amp, the only exception is an adjustable line level in that case the signal level is the same or lower than using the built in adapter. There is no benefit of using an external line level over an internal unless it's a req or clean sweep but that's far more than your basic line level. By the way I am a professional installer if there were any way to justify using an extra line level I would every time, why wouldn't I sell more parts & make more money?

im a installer also, and im not going to get into a pissing match with you, there is a reason that rca's give a better cleaner signal....i hope that the op got a loc and if he didnt its all right its his system and he is going to get a aftermarket hu and use rca's at the end of the day so its fine, there is no reason for me to sit here and argue with you a loc is better than just using a high level input, if you feel the need to keep going on i respect that..i respect your profession and good for you but a loc is better

look all im trying to do is give advice here, he asked what to do and i told him what to do..if he dosnt want my advice he dosnt have to take it, thats the beauty of the internet everyone is entitled to there own opinion for better or for worse...whether you say im an ******* who has no idea what im talking about, or i say look this is what it is and give you facts and real world answers...take it for what its worth, nothing is personal..at the end of the day your in this thread because your either bored, looking for a fight, want to help, or want the answer yourself...really no reason to turn this into a all out war now is there

Well I got the scosche fai-3a. Would it be easiest to mount behind dash and run one + - rear wire to the loc from the hu scince they're disconnected? And do I still need to run remote wire to amp?
