Default MP3 Audio

This may end up getting moved to the stereo/audio sub-forum, but...

Are there any other options that you know of for playing an MP3 player in the truck? I have a Sansa View player and am using the FM modulator to play music and the quality sucks. Is there a cable that I can tap into the factory wires with or another option that I dont know of?

I am not sure if that is possible but I just bought a CD Player and have a USB wire sitting under my player that I plug my Scandisk Sansa into and it sounds great. The player was only $110. If you want to keep the stock radio sorry I have no clue

Yeah, trying to keep the stock radio at least as long as it still plays CD's (wich I guess isn't that important now that I got an MP3).

my 08 Fx4 came stock with a Mp3/CD player installed. Has a port on top of the player for your ipod.

My question is, does this mean the CD player plays Mp3 CDs?

Looking elsewere I found this will only work if you have an AUX button on the factory radio... Do you?

I had planned on that as soon as I took it out of the box.

Yes- I think anyone that has the 6CD player has an AUX button. I could be wrong but just from looking at everyone's profile pics, that is what I noticed cause I wondered the same thing but didn't have access to my truck at that moment (thanks wife).

That seems the way to go then... unless someone else has a different idea. I'm not sure there are any, not too many options when it comes to this...

That website seemed kind of pricey too I'm sure you can find it elsewhere cheaper.
