Default Mounting Amps

Where are you guys mounting amps in your trucks? Mainly 07 and similar screw models where the back seat does not fold down.

Thanks

Remove the backseat and theres some good real estate back there on the wall. I have the remote unlock box, window motor, and 4 amps mounted back there.

How do you remove the rear seat?

Its a royal PITA. You have to shove your hand behind the seat from the sides and pull these plastic clips while popping the seat off...there is 1 clip on each side. Once you get one side off, put a pillow under it so it wont clip back in when you go to do the other side. Once you get them off, I would zip-tie the clips so you never have to deal with them again...thats what I did.

In this pic you can see where I zip-tied one of the clips in the bottom left, also gives you an idea of where it is since you cant see it with the seat on.

My dad has a 2008 KR supercrew like yours, and it does. You just have to fight it. Once the clips are pulled push down then pull up hard...it will come off.
