Default MicroFuse Tap Help

So I am trying to run the remote wire for my Alpine 5 channel amp

Bought this micro fuse tap from Amazon
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

But it doesn't fit in the 2016 XLT fuse box within the cab on the passenger side.

Any one have the right micro tap to purchase

It's too large, the plastic housing around the metal tabs will not fit into the slot. The metal tabs are the right size and shape comparing it to the fuse I removed, but the plastic insulation won't fit right into the slot on the fuse block.

It's sad that I haven't looked at my fuse box, but the only other type that I know of, is the low profile add a circuit.

read the reviews on the amazon page....

This does not fit the new generation F150 fuse box, and may not fit other Fords too. The problem is the plastic around the metal terminals are too big in length and width to fit in the passenger compartment fuse box. A micro2 ATR fuse tap that does work is the Bussmann BP-HHTR-RP. Note that you could get these to work by trimming the black plastic down that holds the two metal terminals.

Thanks, was in a hurry and didn't read the reviews, which burned me.

Found the Cooper-Bussman ATR part at local Auto Zone, hopefully it'll work when I get home tonight. Last step in getting the new system up and running.
