What is the best method of recording CDs to your phone for the highest/best audio quality?

MP3 works well. Not really the best forum to ask this type of question

Don't use MP3, it's a 'lossy' compression algorithm and will reduce the sound quality. Use a lossless compression format such as FLAC, or ALAC if you've got an iPhone, the files are larger than MP3 but smaller than the original source CD. Why use your phone, I've got a 1TB USB hard drive permanently plugged in with a ton of tunes on it.

I agree. OP may not want to or have the knowledge to rip to FLAC, etc.
