Phoenix Gold RSD65CS comps, some cheap adaptors or cut some from MDF, and ebay item 180591232069, plus one of knukonceptz.com's power kits.

Whoops, looks like dealercost doesn't have the PGs for cheap anymore, let me see what I can find real quick.

I agree with gatorb8. I have 6 1/2" infinity with 1-10" sub powered by some proper amps. Sounds great, shop online woofers etc has some good prices. Components aren't necessary.

True, but if he can get a decent set for the same price (or a minimal premium) I think they're worth the cost. Especially since he's got a OEM tweeter spot in his truck doors.

I'd bump up from those if your gonna spend 100, I was recommending them because of dealercost had them for 60.

I'd bump to the Pioneer Premier TS-D720C if your gonna go that high (this is what I have) and they come with the adapters. There are several other decent sets at the $100 price point, too.
