Not F-150... But Stereo related :) 2022 Ford Bronco Insane Focal and Mosconi Stereo
I know this is not an F-Series truck, but the stereo platform/signal matches the new 2021 F-150. This is a three-part video of a 2022 Ford Bronco we just completed for a complete custom stereo system upgrade. This build is not a normal consumer build, but rather a way to push the envelope of what's possible in the custom car stereo industry. This video is an overview of the work we did to upgrade this 2022 Bronco.
Enjoy the videos!
Part 1: Disassembly and Overview
Part 2: Speaker Locations and Fabrication
Part 3: Subwoofer Enclosure and Completion

I know this is a F Series forum, and I currently own a 2019 F350. But, I also have a 2022 Bronco on order (God only knows if I'll get it this year)!
Soooooo, let's talk bronco stereo for a second. I'd like to go active 3-way components in the front, with a small sub in the back. (Musical tastes in the classic rock genre, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynrd, ZZ Top, etc), so I don't need a ton of bass. Have to retain the rear storage area, so I'm thinking something like this for the sub on the tailgate:
For front stage, I'd like something like Focal Flax or Audiofrog GS series. To save space, I'd like some amp with built-in dsp. Soooo, an 8-channel with dsp like Mosconi One 90.8, or Audiocontrol D-6.1200 with a separate sub amp? I'm open to any suggestions.
PS. For Sounds Good Stereo, I love your custom tweeter and midrange mount on top of the dash. Do you plan on selling those speaker plates/mounts, or am I going to have to bring you my dash and let you do your custom magic?
Tx

For any active system, I would start with who is tuning it first. The "ingredients" are only as good as your chef and the last thing you need is a chef to microwave your Wagyu steak Once you find your "chef", listen to a vehicle they have tuned. Decide if you enjoy their "food" and if it is what you want. Then assemble the system within the bottom or middle of their comfort range. If they only build $5k systems, do not be the first to make them do a $10K system, it will not be good, stick to $2500 systems from them.
Choosing between Focal Flax and Audiofrog are two completely different sounds and the power of the Mosconi DSP is on another level than the Audiocontrol DSP. All of this gear is good and has a purpose, but I would tell you to either find a chef you fully trust, let him pick out everything, or go listen to different configurations/speakers/amplifiers/DSPs/Subwoofers/etc to find what you like. Then assemble your "ingredients".

Thanks for checking out the video... Not sure if we are going to offer the dash panel for the 3-way kit, still up in the air if it's something we can ship, produce perfectly every time, and then we have to add up cost..which from the video you watched, it will not be cheap.

CR29, also look at the helix amp/dsp combos. I really like the helix m4 dsp with an additional m4. Or they have the v12, v8, or p6 options with 12, 8, and 6 channels respectively. The helix does have a semi-auto tune option that works decently. Still requires the person tuning to do some work though.
