looking to upgrade stock speakers
I seen the cruchfield kit for about $399 discussed in a write up. I like the idea of a kit. are there any kits like this that are have way decent? not looking to spend a ton as Im not an audiophile. just want something a little better.
Dont really need huge sub woofers as cRAP isn't my thing.
Thanks for all input!!

Just replace speakers, not the head unit and maybe a small sub, i really dont want to take up my storage in the back seat.
Im sure anything has to be better than stock.
Just interested in a clear , level sound, ( mostly classic rock or rock) not looking to bust out windows, or **** off the neighbors haha.

The Morel Tempo Ultra 602 6-1/2" component speaker system has by far been the most popular speaker choice on this platform. Do you have the standard system or the B&O system?

To piggy back off of this, Crutchfield suggests running an amp with that Morel system. How would these perform as just factory swaps in trucks w/o the B&O? I'm in the same boat as the OP. Want something better than factory and don't really want to run an amp or sub. Do you have to splice into the factory wiring for either the door speakers or pillar tweeters?
