I didn't find one on my '90 F150 so I drilled a hole on the driver's side left of the steering shaft.

If you don't mind running amp wire behind your fender, I can help.

In your passenger door area(open the door, and look in the gap that's between the fender and opened door, about halfway up the door) there is a rubber grommet that leads into your kick panel. You can run your wire there, that's where mine went. To get there though you have to run the power wire through the holes on the side of fender from inside the engine bay and fish it out. Basically the wire is between the engine bay frame area (subframe?) and the fender skin.
