Default Kicker VSS PowerStage Help

Well after some research I decided to purchase and install the PowerStage kit and overall I am happy with it. Installation went smooth and I think it sounds great (I have limited experience with aftermarket audio). Anyways, I have been noticing that sometimes the audio warnings (parking brake/rear sensors etc) will sound only through the instrument cluster and sometimes it will play through the speakers like it did prior to installation.

I called Kicker and they claimed it was only supposed to play through the center channel speaker in which case mine is not. My question is for those that have this system do your audio warnings play like the truck was stock or just through the instrument cluster. I am trying to figure out if they are bs'ing me by telling me "sounds about right".

Thanks!

PS, purchased through Stage3 and had a great experience and a damn good price.

I don't have a center channel speaker hooked up and I still have "warnings" however they go through my rears. Not sure what you are experiencing.
