Default Kicker Hideaway

Just got a Kicker Hideaway installed in my new 2018 F150 Supercrew xlt 302a package.
It really does add to the depth of the sound except for one major problem. The sub rattles the back of the truck especially the sliding rear window and this takes away from the overall sound. Does anyone have a fix for this? It makes some songs sound really distorted and unpleasant. I also replace the door speakers and this also improved the sound but the excessive rattle make me think I should have gone another route.
Help!

Where did you mount the sub... is it secure/mounted or just sitting somewhere loose?

Its mounted on behind the back seat drivers side. Its bolted to the back part of the cab, the carpet along the back of the cab is the only thing that separates the sub from metal.

I have the kicker installed in my 2016 and I don't have this issue. Although I did fill the sub box with polyfil before I installed it which may have helped prevent this. I think others have added Dynamat to the back wall and floor.

You need vibration dampener on the back wall of the cab to eat up some of the reverberations being transferred up to the back window. Easy fix.

Hush Car Audio is where I buy all of my materials.
