It's not a Sony head unit just speaker package. Crutvhfield said it would work.

Plug in your truck specs and look at their suggested hardware you will need for installation. It will tell you what will work and what will not. I was able to plug-in info for the DDX594 and a 2011 F150 FX4.

You can most likely find the parts you will need elsewhere for cheaper like on Amazon. Hope this helped!
what all did you put in? Do you have the Sony speakers? Did you use maestro?

You said that the 6 disc with Sony quit working. I would have to assume that meant a Sony system. If you have the base radio then what you have should work. I never heard of a base radio with factory Sony speakers...

I am simply suggesting using the Crutchfield website to check for any equipment YOU might need. I do not have a 2011 nor the Sony system.
