2011 supercrew fx4 6 disk changer w/ sony quit working. Bought a Kenwood DDX 594 excelon and maestro. Anyone got any tips on install? I also bought the wire kit F01 and a micro-bypass. I am wanting to project the stock back up camera into the head unit. I've been searching for around a hour and most of the pictures are not working on here anymore. I don't want to screw up my wife's truck lol. Every thing is on order from amazon.

I put Maestro/Kenwood deck into my truck. I don't have Sony though. Wasn't a hard process.

So what you are telling me is that because it has the sony package that I can't use the kenwood deck and maestro in the truck? I would have to buy another factory head unit? That's pretty stupid.

My suggestion is to go to https://www.crutchfield.com/

Plug in your truck specs and look at their suggested hardware you will need for installation. It will tell you what will work and what will not. I was able to plug-in info for the DDX594 and a 2011 F150 FX4.

You can most likely find the parts you will need elsewhere for cheaper like on Amazon. Hope this helped!

That's right. The Sony is a whole different ballgame. You can upgrade everything except the factory HU.
