Default Kenwood DDX370? Anybody? Help!!

Does anybody know if this is a decent deal? And what else I would need to install this in my 05? I have a stock 6 CD and don't know a whole lot about head units and installation and what not.

Doesn't look like too bad of a price but I would look around just to be sure. You will need a dash kit and wiring harness. If you have steering wheel controls you will need a harness for that also if you want to keep them. Make sure that the HU you choose also has an input for the steering wheel control harness.

I purchased a kenwood dpx500bt from crutchfield. Nothing too fancy, but bluetooth capable, and had all the features I needed. I usually don't use crutchfield, but their price was comparable and they included dash kit, wiring harness, and antenna adapter. With free shipping it was a better deal than I could find anywhere.

I bought the DDX470 from Crutchfield for 350. The 370 doesn't come with Bluetooth. I decided to give it a shot. Crutchfield has been great to me over the years. The wiring harness is easy to match up by color, and the mounting hardware is universal. You just have to make sure there are at least two screws fastened to the stereo on both sides. I installed mine over the weekend and its a perfect, clean look. Very easy to do. The dash trim pops right off with a flat head screwdriver, just be easy. Then four bolts hold the stock stereo into place. Take em out, unplug, and bam, stereo is out. I should have taken pics of my install....

But yes, Crutchfield knows what to send you. They also email you a pdf with step by step instructions for replacing the stereo, front, and rear speakers if you need it.
