Default just purchased my new system

I finally purchased all my stuff for my 08 screw, now I just gotta wait to get home from my deployment to put it in... waiting sucks! But any way here is all the stuff I got:

Pioneer AVH-P3300 head unit
Infiniti Kappa 6x8 door speakers
dual 10" underseat box
Kicker Comp VT slim 10" subs
Pioneer GM-8500D 600w RMS mono block amp
0 AWG wiring kit
and all the other misc. wires and dash kit.

In about 3-4 weeks once I get back I will be able to actually put it in and play with it a little bit, I am hoping I wont have to use a amp for my door speakers, but we will see once it gets installed.

good gear but there really is no need for zero g wiring. for a 600w amp the most you will need is 4g

it wont hurt him to have 0 gauge either, it will in fact be better than 4 gauge

Cool, should be a nice upgrade over factory sound. Using 0awg now is better, less work when you upgrade.

I know the 0 AWG is a tad overkill, but most likely the Infiniti doors will req a amp to sound right (or so I've heard), so I’ve got a old (trusty) Jensen 645 watt 4 chan I am going to throw at them. I will be running the 0 AWG to a dist block and going 4 AWG from there to each amp.

sorry if you guys thought i was flaming him... zero gauge is great because you guys are right, he'll never have to upgrade. I was thinking of a connection standpoint. trying to connect 0 awg to that pioneer amp direct would be like trying to stick a marker in a pen cap.

Ruger is the only one who seems to understand that there is such a thing called Maximum Input Gauge Size...

Look at feature and specs... plus its truly not difficult to simply re-run 0AWG wiring if you need to later on. Won't need anything higher than 8AWG wiring. Yes there are certain adapters that will fix the situation, but I just wanted to point that out.

like i said... i will be running the 0 AWG to a dist (distrubition) block and splitting into two 4 AWG wires from there for each amp, I am well aware that a 600w RMS amp is not going to take a 0 AWG wire. I've actually got to install another system when I get back from my deployment, on a buddies 09 Ralliart lancer, he has 2 punch p3s running a 1000W RMS amp that still takes only 4 AWG input. I know because I have previously installed this system on his previous car.

Aah I see you forgot to mention the distribution blocks.
