I tried a search and came up empty handed, has anyone installed the jl stealthbox with 2x 12 tw3 in their 15+ f150? Curious as to fit and sound quality.

The JL TW3 is one of the best shallow mount subs on the market for both output and sq. Considering JL built the enclosure, I imagine they gave their subs the correct airspace. I would be willing to bet their combo sounds as good as those TW3's can sound.
As far as fit goes, based on the pictures, that enclosure fits just as good as some of the other contoured offerings I've seen. While the front side isn't as nice as an MTI enclosure, it's black carpet. It will blend in just fine.
Lastly, I can't believe the increase in price from US to Canadian. That's crazy!
From what I can tell fox acoustics is only available for 10" subs and I'm wanting 12s. My cost on the jl box is around 1300cdn. I was quoted around a day to day and a half labour for making a custom box so that would be around 800-1000 just for the box plus subs. Seemed like the jl box was a good value
I've been strongly considering the MTI as well, they make an amazing looking product but I think for the value factor the JL might just win. I'm leaning more towards a clean hidden system and I think the MTI may be overkill for what I'm planning as well.

I have two TW3-12s in a box from ebay seller Rodney's Boxes. Even though the carpet is laughably cheap, the box is well constructed, the subs hit hard, and the amp rack helps recoup some of the underseat storage area that I lost. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
I don't remember seeing the dual stealthbox when I was shopping, I ran across it today (and this post) while looking at options to replace the carpet on my ebay box.
I had a JL stealthbox/amp combo in my 05 so I'm familiar with their quality. I too am wondering how much better (if any) the fiberglass construction and in-house engineering would sound with the TW3s.
I'm sure the JL has OEM-like fit and finish, but I just took a look at MTI and really like the OEM match and rounded corners of their design.
