Yeahhh I'm thinkin it will kind of fit, but it's going to probably stick out from the under the seat a bit. Hopefully my truck will get here in a couple days and I'll be able to measure! Goin nuts! Haha

You'd be amazed by the sound if you made that box downward facing using some spacers. It's a fairly substantial difference. Nineball makes a point in that two 8s do push more air for SPL due to cone surface but they will not really have the lows that a larger sub will produce in a proper ported enclosure. You have to take into account that two 8s pushing only 200 RMS will not necessarily sound louder than a single 10 pushing 600 watts. No offense to nineball but JL makes way better subs than JBL so the SQ will be better as well. In my professional opinion, if you are having forward facing or upward facing you are really not getting the volume and impact compared to having the subs downward facing or rearward facing. Give it a try and move your box around to test this theory out. I'll look forward to your results. I'm hoping they are the same as I'm finding them to be.

I had 2 -10s under my rear seat in my 2014 Scab. Box fit perfect
