I want to get people's opinions on the quality and pricing on both brands of speakers. I have been a long time fan of JL but I keep hearing Hertz is also good. I want to install brand new speakers on my 2015 f150 xlt and I also would like to find out which are the measurements for both back and front speakers. Thanks in advance

All Ford door speakers are 5x7/6x8. Ive ran the the Hi Energy Hertz with regular 6.5 and XL version, ran the Mille 6.5 and tweeter, also ran JLs C5 speaker line. Have to say the Hertz Mille are my absolute favorite for rock/metal/pop/country music. The HiEnergy XL is pretty good as well. Love the mid bass that 6.5 can produce. Has to be installed correctly with plenty of deadened and power but I would chose the Hertz any day. JL is a good speaker but not worth the price IMO. Tweeter is just average and the mid isn’t anything too special IMO.

Also run 6.5 not 5x7. You can buy adapters or make some out of wood easily.
