Possibly. You would have to build a custom box with the woofer firing forward, its far too deep to try to fit downfiring.
I would stick to shallower subwoofers for under-the-seat installs. You can fit 2-3 shallow 12s which will have a ton more output than the single 10w7. The Alpine Type R shallow 12 is a great option, and the SI BM when it is available again.

not unless you modify some things, and as far as the w7 goes, its a great sounding subwoofer, but as far as the price of it...really makes it not so great, its very overpriced
id suggest a dc sound labs level 2 series subwoofer, it will fit under your back seat its just a tight fit but well worth it

Be sure to take a look at the new Polk audio mm1040s if your looking for a ten. for the power output the jl requires you could effectively power 3 polks and have an additional 20in of surface area. And I believe they only wants .60cuft per sub and at less than 5" deep space becomes much more flexible to.
hope this helps, by the way Polk has incredible sound quality also, but I've been told the dc's are nasty just never seen any in action.
