Ya, I'm excited to be back into being able to "afford" decent car audio again. Also, now that I am becoming friends with Justin Zazzi (he just moved to Phoenix), I have someone local and really good to bounce ideas off of and that can hear the truck and maybe give me some pointers. Not why I am becoming friends with him as he is just a cool guy to hang out with in general, but it is nice to have someone that enjoys audio, probably more than me, to talk to in person.....my wife doesn't share the same appreciation that I do for good sound quality and my dog just sits and stares at me and doesn't give great pointers...even though she is part english pointer....

It is the high solids epoxy kit from Garage Floor LLC with Dark blue/white/grey flake. Not exactly the chepeast option (About $800 for a 3 car garage) but it is SUPER nice compared to the cheap home depot/lowes/etc epoxy. I have spilt some pretty harsh chemicals on it and they just wipe right off and then spray it down with water to clean and it looks brand new again.

Don't even get me started on the PIA my floor was to prep for this kit. The kit was super easy to do, just the prep work took a lot as there was a painted layer on my floor that needed to be fully removed first....about 72 hours of grinding on a 3 car garage floor. If you do not have any coating on your floor it MIGHT take a few hours to prepare the floor.

Also, don't drop silver screws, nuts, bolts, washers, etc. on this color....It takes sometimes days to find it again . I now throw a black carpet pad underneath if I am working on something that isn't going to leak fluids on.

Got the tweeters installed today. Based on many readings/recommendations over at diyma and talking with Justin, for both best response and best aesthetics I aimed the tweeters basically at the rear dome light. I used Justin’s (in his build log over there) formula to get the distance which was again basically the dome light.

If if I don’t like this after I tune it, I’ll drill a hole somewhere.

Found a alpine pdx v-9 in amazing condition locally. One of the better spec'd v9's I've seen too!
