Installed a simple and clean system in my 17 crew

Great setup man. This is pretty much exactly what I want to do in mine, but maybe only 1 8" or 1 10". Sadly, I'm not handy enough to build my own box so I'll have to buy a premade one.
My other considered option is buying a Kicker Hideaway and only having to run wires for it.

THANKS! tapping the B pillar as we speak... I'm running them to an LC2 line out converter, then to a MTX Jack Hammer amp (1500 Watts peak), then to two 12 inch kickers and 2 6 by 9's in a custom built box under the 'rumble' seat. I'll post a pic thereafter.

In the near future I'm gonna upgrade again. Nice 5 channel amp, run power wire to battery, upgrade to audiocontrol lc7, add another 8" sub, replacing the door speakers. Hardest decision is what brand and model door speakers to use. I've pondered anything from kenwood excelon, hertz, low level focal, Polk, infinity. Don't have the budget to go super high end but 150$ ball park for front components and 100$ for rearcoaxials if I shop around.

I don't post much, but I would like to thank you in this post and the entire forum for making all the upgrades to my truck possible. I am addicted to looking at all the cool add ones and upgrades everyone is doing. I have done so much to my truck from just the tutorials I have found. Just finished wiring the left and right rear speakers to my LOC and will run the power and hook up the amp tomorrow. I could not have done it with out your help. Thanks again.

No problem at all sir, I couldn't have done this without some of the help of other forum members as well. I try to contribute as much as possible. Since I made the post I had to go back and modify my speaker enclosure. It was no problem without passengers in the back but with a passenger the seat was pressing down hard on the plastic seat release handle on the bottom of the seat. So I recessed the area where the seat was hitting and also raised the box another .75" off the floor. Passengers were putting so much downward force on the box that the rubber surrounds on the cones were hitting the floor liners underneath.
