Default Installed a simple and clean system in my 17 crew

Wanted something clean, simple, good sound, and inexpensive. Went with two 8" woofers down firing under the seat. Turned out great and very easy to install. Here is a list of the stereo equipment. Kicker px200.1 amp, audio control lc2i controller with bass gain remote, image dynamics ID 8" woofers dual 2 ohm, custom box by myself. Have about 320$ total in everything including the material for the sub box and all extra wiring and connectors. Tapped into the factory power wire in the rear door sill since I do not have the Sony factory amp. The line level controller I tapped into both rear door speaker wires behind the b pillars. Amp and controller is grounded to the bolt that the top of the rear seat latches to.

The audio control module is a nice little piece. It turns the rear speaker wires into rca outputs at a high voltage. Also this unit will detect the speaker inputs then has an output at 12 volts to turn on the kicker amp. The gain on the kicker amp is 1/8 turn from off. The gains on the lc2 unit are barely on. Super clean signal with no noise or turn on/off pops.

The little amp rack to hide the wires. 16" long and 5.5" wide. 2.25 tall. 3 sides enclosed, back is open for the wires to come through
