so i installed my adq1200d and have it at 1 ohm, im running 2 4 ohm 10 inch solo classics. and let me say im STILL dissapointed!! i previously had only 1 of the 10 inch hooked up to a zx500.1, i can tell a little difference in the new amp but not much. do you guys think i just need to keep tuning it?

2 ohms or 8 ohms? Can not be 1 so I would say yes you have something wrong..

Are they dual coil maybe? Also make sure you have both subs in phase. If you have 2 terminal cups on ur box just unhook one sub... if the bass gets louder then they are out of phase.

well they are dual voice coils and they are 4 ohm, i looked up how to wire the subs on the jl audio website and they have a wiring diagram and it shows 1 wire connecting to the positive to positive and run that to the positive connector on the amp, and negative to negative connect that to the negative connector on the amp, and do the same thing to the other sub. thats how i got 1 ohm and thats what the diagram shows, my amp is 1 ohm stable. so whats up?

Oh ok dual 4 ohm coils makes sense to get down to one ohm. Did you make sure the subs are in phase? In phase means the both drivers move in the same direction at the same time. Im not saying you don't know what you are doing .... its just and easy t shooting idea to rule out a simple mistake. If you have the subs out of phase the subs will move a lot but there will not be much bass because they are canceling each other out.
