I may be mistaken but the 14' looks like it uses up some cargo space when the seat is folded up. Keep in mind that the VSS isnt going to rattle the mirrors off but like I said before, I personally think that the sound improvement, ease of install, and keeping all my cargo space was way worth it. It sounds great for what it is.
I listened to your video and seemed like it was more than enough for me too, sounded good on my Klipsh computer speakers anyway LoL

HOLY hell Earsmccoy. Major thank you! Just finished installing the VSS power stage. Bought it from Stage 3. Arrived 2 days later. Anyhow, your video was extremely helpful. The included instructions were adequate, but your video definitely clarified things further. And if anyone is on the fence as to whether or not this system is worth the money...I say PULL THE TRIGGER! Sounds amazing! It's a night and day difference from the stock system. Definitely worth the money. Thanks for the great video dude.

Glad the video helped. I wish I would have recorded more under the dash but I kind of got rolling and never set up the camera down there. Anyways, enjoy your new set up. I am still diggin' it and while it might be a little pricey for some, it's worth it. Banks exhaust is supposed to arrive tomorrow or Tuesday so it might be time for another video .

One other thing I wonder, maybe someone will be able to answer this,
I had a 2015 Mustang GT premium with the 402a package (top tier shaker with sub in trunk.) does the VSS put the F150 system on par with that or does it surpass that system? Cause the shaker 1200 wasn't much to brag about, but was also a massive step up from the GT's base 6 speaker setup as leaps above the 2015 F150 setup.

Anyone know, lol?

So that's the car I traded in when I bought my 2015 F-150. I had a 2015 Mustang GT premium with the performance package, and the high end option group. It had the Shaker 12 speaker system with the sub in the trunk. I feel like that shaker system had SLIGHTLY clearer sound quality. More powerful mid and high tones. However, the VSS feels like it has more bass. And and the 200 watt amp driving the door speakers definitely made a world of difference. Enough so that I won't be changing out the door speakers. The system sounds pretty damn cool in my opinion. I do feel like it was worth the $1,249 price tag for the system. It's that good.

I am glad to hear the factory speakers respond well to amplification. I am planning my own "Kicker" upgrade with the 5-channel Kicker Amp from my previous 2007 F150. I also have an L5 in a ported box or a 10 sub to go with it. Not sure which one I will use yet. Did the extra wattage introduce any rattles in the door speakers?

So, completely subjective question, lol, but if on a scale of 1 to 10 you'd say the sound is improved over the Mustangs Shaker 1200 system, where would you put it? 10 being 100 percent better than the Mustans Shaker 1200 or 1 being its the same or worse as the shaker 1200.
Reason I ask is I was never impressed with the Shaker 1200. It lacked decent clarity, and really was a let down. I don't wanna drop 1250 on a VSS and get similar results.

Dang...that's a tough question since it's so subjective. I definitely prefer the new VSS sound system in my truck to the system in my mustang. It sounds more powerful and the bass is tight and clean. But I didn't think the mustang's system was bad either. So I suppose I'd give it a 5, since it's certainly better than the mustang...but not lightyears ahead of it.
