Noico or CLD tiles for vibration dampening? Plan on outer door skins, door panel, around speaker openings and roof.

Unless you are pushing a ton of power with large subs you won't need nearly as much vibration dampener as you think. I'd rather spend the money on sound deadener than vibration dampeners.

Yes! Absolutely! Cheap investment, excellent return! Seals the door panel to the speaker housing, eliminates rattles, creates a vapor barrier for the top of the speaker inside the door, and provides an anechoic pad behind the speaker to eliminate reverberations.

Vapor barrier??? They are basically a sponge are they not? So these do not eliminate vibration material for speaker mounting at door, plus door panel and door skin right?

They make them with rubber vapor barriers and rubber baffles now. In 5.5, 6.5, and 6x9. This is the direction the rest of the manufacturers will head before long.

To answer your other question. Yes and no. These direct sound, keep the door panel separated from the inner door card, seals the speaker against door panel, and eliminates vibration noise at the speaker. You will still want your traditional layer of sound deadening and vibration dampening. Speaker rings are primarily designed to compliment the speaker only. The rest of the door still needs to be treated.

Just called metra. They said this company will ship them directly to you. Metra said that if Muuvinsound doesn't have them, they can order them.

I wish I still had 6.5" in my doors. I would order these in a heart beat.
