Ok. I'm goin to Do some research on how they work. Is there some kind of wire diagram that would show me exactly how to do this? That or a link to somewhere I could get info on how to do this?

Would probably be easier to run a new amp wiring kit all the way back. new 12v remote turn on and DEF. need a better power and ground.

Yeah. I think that's what I'm going to do. So I just run the remote wire to the back of the stock HU then? Man, I never thought I was an expert by any means but I just feel like a dummy right now with all these questions lol.

There isn't a 12V Turn on at either location, they are both 5V. Putting in the relay would be easier than pulling apart your dash, anyways.

well, i tried the relay and it didnt work for me. then i tried to use a fuse tap and i still wasnt getting a signal to my amp... thing im just going to have a shop do it.. 75 bucks and im done with it lol
