everyone seems to like the fix 82. What exactly does it do over the kicker front row?

Here are the links to both products for your review:
http://www.jlaudio.com/fix-82-car-au...egration-98100

and

http://www.kicker.com/12ZXDSP1

I think after reading about them you'll see not only is the FiX 82 better, it's also much easier to dial everything in since its automatic. No ***** to adjust since the unit does it for you. The Kicker unit has been out since late 2012 as the JL just came out. One has the newest technology vs the other. Think iPhone and you'll get my point. I'm for sure biased as I'm a dealer for JL Audio but hey there are plenty of reasons why most would agree with me. Let me know if you want pricing.

So why do you need a DSP in conjunction with the FIX ?

I would have used the audison bit, but decided I didn't want to spend that kind of money. I used the arc audio Sri. Nice piece and the sound system in my 15 is way better than I ever thought it could be with a stock head unit. I have an arc audio xdi1200.6 two 10" hertz energy and a set of hertz Mille Legend components up front. Impressed with the arc
