Help! No Sound From Factory plug
Ok. I give up. I have a 2016 F-150 XLT 4X4. It has Sirius Radio Built in and has the grey plug in the back for the Kicker upgrade. I bought the WPT-1212 harness, wired it up just like ALL the posts say, (all I'm using is the remote turn on, bottom left, and the positive input, 2nd from left, and negative input, 3rd from left.) I had this wired to a Polk 2 ch amp. With the leads wired to a spliced RCA connector. That triggered the amp to go into protection mode. I know this because I unplugged the RCA cables and the amp came on. I figured it was a high signal, so I got a line output convertor and wired it in. This time the amp stayed on, but still no sound. I tried every setting I could with forscan, I can only get the remote turn on to work. Why cant I get any sound? Some people hook into the plug and have sound. Any advice? If it is multi-meter advice, I have one but dont know the settings on it to use it. Please help!
Thank you,

same as you
I'm in the same boat.. did the same things as you I ended up running a remote wire to fuse 23 to get the amp to turn on.
Did all the settings in Forscan also, but still no sound from the rear plug
I'm about to install a LOC to get the RCA out...
Hope we can get some answers!

50 bucks for a harness just to get a signal to the back for a sub is crazy! I have the Sirius radio, and its an XLT. The gray plug is there. When I activate it with forscan, the remote wire activates and turns on my amp. I just want the plug to give me the signal like its supposed to. Anyone know the correct settings in forscan? I have tried everything, I spent 38 bucks on a plug and all I can get out of it is a remote turn on? Thats just not right.

You followed this post? Seems they got it working by using that harness at the back of the truck.
