Default Help Chosing Speakers, Amp, and Sub

I am looking to replace the speakers, the head unit, and add a sub with an amp to power the speakers and sub. Also, i am on a budget and i can spend around $500-600.

I was thinking of purchasing the following:
Pioneer DEH P8400BT head unit
Polk Audio dxi571's or dxi651's and making an adapter plate for the 6.5s
Either Jensen POWER 1500.5d amp or a JVC KS-AX3205D amp
I would need to find a shallow mount sub to fit in my regular cab

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I am sixteen years old and i just want suggestions. Thanks!

Nope gotta add a sub. Why not run the speakers off the HU and just get a sub amp for now to stay in your budget?

Would the sub over power the speakers though? I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with Polk audio Dxi651 6.5s, heard them earlier and like the sound

If your only using 1 10"sub in a sealed box with less thatn 250 watts going to the sub it wont be bad in the means of drowning out the speakers.

The polks are good for the money budget speaker,

check this out as they have great reviews and can be found on ebay for around $56.00 a pair. Rockford Fosgate Punch P165

I had Kickers in the doors running off the factory HU and a single 10" sub running 100 watt amp. Perfect mix

Sub amp was an old Alpine I had. The 10" sub was a Polk I bought from Best Buy for $50.
