Question help! amp installation on factory radio

Hi every one, I just bought a 2007 F150 crewcab. I need help on how to get the speaker output from my audiophile 6 in-dash CD/factory stereo to a 2 channel amplifier. Where is the best place to hide a 400 to 600 watt amplifier? My plan is to install a med size amp and 2 10" subs in a box under the rear seat. any suggestion? I got 2 10" audio bahn 300w each. I'm looking for an amp with remote bass control and a custom 10" sub box to put under rear the seat. Thanks guys.

I have my amp under the pass seat in my 07 crewcab. It fits just fine. Also, I got a custom box off of Ebay for the truck. It only supports 1 10" though, but sounds excellent. I wasn't going for big bass just excellent sound quality.

To be able to attach an amp you have to get either an amp with a high level hookup or a line level convertor to convert your speaker wats to a signal for an RCA hookup. I have my amp under the back seat with a custom box. I only have 1 10 though.

2 things....first you will need what is called a HI/LO converter.....second, my friend had his amp installed under his center console in a super cab 06, and then the air vents for the rear were disonnected, and pointed directly onto the amp to prevent an OVER HEAT....those audibahns sound pretty good, and you wont need tooo powerful of an amp for it...

only thing is with the converter your going to lose some sound quality. but they^ have the problem pinned. Good luck on your install.

Thank you all for the good and quick response!!
I 'll try to get the box from e-bay and hopefully a good amp with remote control, I already order chrome side mirror cover and all dooor handles..I heard that is a custom front grill with fog lights incrusted available for F150, any one knows about it?
