I am installing a Kenwood DDX616 in a 10. I have everything I need and know about most of the wires but not sure about the mute wire. Do I need to hook this up to mute the music, movie when I receive a phone call?

I have the ASVI 5520 harness and it has 1 pink wire with a connector and I am not sure if I need this.

Please advise if I have to use these or if the BT mutes internally.

i do think the pink wire is for the brake..so that u cant watch videos while driving...but u can bypass it by grounding it..that worked for me..about the mute not sure
