I'm looking into installing this along with the Maestro Idatalink. I already have the Maestro AR and the wiring harness, but haven't sprung $700 for the Kenwood yet. Anyone here have any experience with this?

I would ask Crutchfield to see if it will work with your HU. I think it is primarily for replacing stock premium setups with an amp. Also you can only use it with Maestro so you will be limited if you want to move it to another setup...
