Default Has anyone installed aftermarket into an 09-14 with Navigation?

Hi all,

I'm learning of the Maestro RR iDatalink solution that integrates the climate, SYNC, backup cameras, and all that fun stuff of the trucks with navigation into aftermarket head units, and I'm wanting to upgrade.

However, I'm not sure if there's an installation kid available that will make a double din HU (looking at the Kenwood DNX773S) look right in the factory touchscreen location and thought I'd ask you guys if you knew of anything. I've got a 2012 SCREW Platinum with Sony and Navigation.

Thanks,

Brandon

Thanks for the link. Looking for someone who has replaced the factory nav/Sony system.

Problem is that they don't make a dash kit to fit the Sony

Yeah, that's what I'm finding. :-/ I can't find a single example of one being changed.

Yes youll be replacing the 8 inch touchscreen for a 7 in touchscreen hu. The schoshe, the bezel youll want. I know my kenwood 892 has the hvac controlls in it. Not sure about the one you listed. The maestro rr will integrate everything oem, into the new hu!

Thanks for the reply, Todd. I'm fine with losing an inch on the screen for the other mammoth benefits I can pickup, especially with Android Car. So Scosche makes a dash kit? Did you convert a truck with Sony/nav to aftermarket?

Do wha? If your replacing the oem 8 inch hu, you'll just need a new schoshe bezel or metra. Depending on your tastes..
