I didn't see a mounting depth on that sub, but I believe they won't fit under our back seats. Since this is a F150 forum, it would be nice to post something that is applicable.

The JL Audio 10w3 is a good sub but its been around for many years now and I think JL Audio would have updated it if the economy was better to justify the tooling cost. Instead they chose to invest in making the best bang for the buck sub on the market "the new w0 v2" The 10's at $90 are the best value out there. Even JL's website is advertising that they have more Xmax than the origonal w6's and unlike the old w0's which were rated at 125w the new w0 v2 is rated at 300w. I supply a lot of JL dealers and they said the w3's are a hard sale when customers know the w0's will give them 95% of the performance at half the price.
When money is plentiful it might be ok to spend 2x the money on high power subs which will need a amp that's larger, which will need larger power wire, which will need a battery and alternator upgrade.
When its all over the the end result is 2-3 db more and instead of spending $600-$1k you end up dumping $2-3K . The family is starving but the truck rocks!
There is always the customer that wants to brag about how much they paid but with the current economy people should only spend what they can pay for with out putting it on a credit card and going into debt.

The W0's in the past have required more airspace than the higher end subs. Is this still the case? If not then using the W0's would be a better choice when you put it like this. What about the mounting depth of the W0 as well?

I have an old school PPI PC2150 amp that is pushing two old school kicker solobarics and those speakers are starting to sound a bit weak high volume levels. If I can fit some JL W0's in the same box that would rock!

Check out the specs on JL's website. Its a very impressive sub.
In the past most of the JL dealers around here also sold other brands like Memphis, Rockford, or kicker and they always said that the other brands were the better choice for entry level subs but since the w0 v2's came out 100% of the dealers are sticking with the w0 v2's as there top choice. One of my dealers always said the Memphis PR subs were his main sub for everyday customers but once he tried the w0's he said its hands down the best sub he's ever heard at $90-100 and he couldn't find a better sub under $150. He said he was careful about selling the old w0's to abusive customers because they would smoke them the first day. The new wo's handle more than twice the power and he said exchanges while inevitable are very rare with the v2's.

Didn't mean those subs on the front page. Diyma is a huge car audio forum. And they can't even agree on the best subs.
