Good speakers?

Good speakers?
Hey guys, i just registered tonight. I'm interested in your opinion about 2 pairs of 6x8's, which is the correct size for an 02, right? I have been looking at some Rockford Fosgate T1682, can get them for under 100 a pair from an authorized dealer. I will have some wattage running to em with a 4 channel amp. Let me know what you think about them. I am not in a posistion to get components, no matter what deal i can get on them and i cannot get a subwoofer, at least for the time being. So, let me know if you have had any experience and if you think they should have a respectable amount of bass etc. . Thanks...Ryan- http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...en_US&p_status=

Hey Ryan, personally I really like RF speakers and subs. I think you will get more bass from these than what you did with your stock setup. Honestly I think you will be happy with them. That's a deal for less than 100 a pair.

I have pioneer 4 ways. They sound nice. All I have paired with them is a pioneer headunit. They have very nice high's, seeing as they have 2 tweeters, a mid and a woofer. I'm going to get a sub and amp later but as far as the speakers go, I like them.

if you have any woodworking skills i suggest making your own mounting plates and putting in 6.5" components, if not they make brackets for it too.
the t series from rf has good midbass but lacks in the 10khz and above range
