Default getting speaker wire into the doors

How difficult is it to get speaker wire into the doors with the Molex connectors? I was going to use the parrot harness and use the factory speaker wires, but I'm going to be pushing 150w per side so I'd prefer to run my own wires if possible. On my dodge they made it easy by putting holes at all 4 corners of the Molex big enough to get 14ga through.

I know there is a good picture somewhere on this forum showing that a hole was drilled in one of the upper corners of the connector.

Post #4, Stick the drill bit inbetween the front quarter panel and the door, just don't go much more than maybe 1/2" into the plug.
The rest of the thread has good info on this subject.

Thanks i saw that but i would prefer having the speaker wire run completely through the boot as opposed to outside of it. I might just have to use the factory wire. I think it will support the power I'm sending through it

I contemplated drilling the molex. But once I got into it, I realized how much work it would be and how hard it was to actually access it really well. I just ran the stock speaker wire. I'm using a 4 channel Sony XMGS400 to Infinity Kappa 682.9s in each door. Sounds frigging amazing. Just got it done tonight.
