I had picked up my box from Fox Acoustics and I must say they take pride in their work. I went there to pick out a box for my other truck and everyone was in a good mood and they enjoyed their job. Every box made there is cut by a CNC machine for precision and is nailed, sealed, and sanded by hand. I still have the box today and its never leaked or have I had any other problems with it.

I have a Fox Box with two 10" Alpine Type-R's 10D4 (I believe), they were brand new last summer. Anyways, the price of the box was very good, however, due to Fox's incorrect measurements to which they stated online, the box had to be extended around the back of the subwoofer port, so that the subwoofers could fit. I know it's not completely Alpine's fault for this mishap (well besides the fact that the fancy edging on the subwoofer was part of the problem, five edge strips running from under the top of the sub to the bottom), because we had their measurements in hand, and on the packaging box they came with, and after looking back on Fox's website, they are the one's who were seemingly incorrect. Despite a crazy ordeal, which involved multiple series of cutting and modifying the Fox Box, the sound quality is awesome, and the box also fits perfectly (not to mention an extra two inches on top). Here's some pictures.

Damn that looks like it'll thump pretty good. I'm debating about the alpine type r shallow mounts though. So hopefully I wouldn't have problem with clearance

Yeah, they do pretty good to say the least. When I was looking at subwoofers last summer (type-r's), I couldn't find a shallow mount version (not that I would've gotten them if I had been able to anyway). Although, it shouldn't of mattered, because the measurements on the Alpine Type-R 10D4's used were within the suggested/stated measurements by Fox Acoustics...

I'm pretty happy with my single 10" fox box. Other than it took a few weeks to get it sounds really good. I have a few pics in my profile

The magnet on a Type R is almost 7 inches wide. The Fox Box website says 6 inch wide magnet next to the depth.
I have JL 10w3's in mine on a JL JX1200 and it rocks.

Those RE subs must slam! When I called Fox Box they said the JL 10w3's were the biggest sub they recommended. How much do those RE's sell for? Did you paint your box or did you order it like that? That tan box looks awesome.

They get pretty loud with deep bass.. IBF150 has 4 of them.. I only got 2... The SRX are $90 a piece..

My interior is tan so i spray painted the box with krylon i think it was or duracaot.. One of those wal-mart paints
