those DAs look good, the power handling is a little low for me though.
i was looking for something that would take advantage of my amp without blowing.
i expect too much out of my little 10 because i have a friend with 2 12s and im trying to get that sound out of a 10 lol.

He's got 12's in an F150, under the seat? Where are you mounting yours?

no, they're in the trunk of a car, but i'm trying to get the same output from my 10. i have a ported box that holds one 10 under my rear seats.
im still trying to decide on that alpine, it can handle a good amount of power, so it shouldnt blow near as easily as my current fosgate.

another suggestion is the Kicker Solo-Baric 10 in, if you're only going to have one sub...i'm just not sure on the mounting depth. Those have come down quite a bit in price...

the box is made for a circular sub.
im looking at this now too: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-07CVR104.html
i think it might fit, because one just like this came out of the box when i bought it.

I vote Alpine all the way. Had a 10" Type R in my last car and loved every single thing about it. Obviously the Type S won't be quite as impressive, but quality wise you can't go wrong with Alpine.

id go with alpine if you could fit it. i love my fosgate T1, but id only go with fosgate for the T1 or T2. but those just dont quite fit under seats. either way, i love how rockford and alpine can be cheaper price, still loud, but actually have some sound quality to it. not just "WAH WUH WUH.. WUM WUM WAH" like.. some companies, if that made any sense.
how much sub depth are you limited to? edit* - 5 1/8, haha i didnt see it the first time
does the box fit too tight, or is there any way you could make it a tiny bit deeper?
