Update:
Dealer wouldn't go for that so I had to wait if I wanted them replaced under warranty. I didnt want to spend the money to get new ones at this point.

The speakers came in earlier than expected last week and I had them replaced Monday. Fine now, we'll see how long they last.

Service advisor told me there was a defective run of them and the parts manager told him that they had to pull all the back stock earlier this year, hence the back order.
