You can get a custom box to fit under the seat in the back and not loose anything. I just got my truck and I can get the 2 10s I had in under the back seat for 200 bucks. All you have to do is move your jack. You can get a box for 2 12's too but you got to make sure you have enough airspace for them. It just all depends if you want to shake the car next to you or not. I mean 2 good 10's will get it thumping real good.

i would recommend kicker 12" l7's... these will be plenty loud with the right amp... you will definately want to do some upgrading to your door speakers if you do this though otherwise all you will hear is your bass...
I install systems around where i live, and i recently put 2 kicker 15" l7's in a 01 dodge ext cab... I dont remember the amp, but i put in infinity reference component door speakers in the front, pioneer 3 ways in the back, and 4 tweeters in it, and when the bass was turned up, there still wasn't enough of the highs... he is selling the 15's and buying 12's

hey
sounds like 2 12s would sound great with the right amp in it
and eastsideperformance i have a 93 f150 that im gonna do somethin similar to but im gonna try to get 2 10" piledrivers with massive magnets on them for the boxes but i dont have an amp that works right now so its kinda hard but i do plan on building a total rockford system by the time im done

i got a pretty good sound system i guess. i have a Flip out pioneer DVD5900 deck, 1 Alpine TYPE-X 3OOOW sub hooked up to a kicker 15OOW amp, 4 infinite 6x8's in the doors and 4 infinite 6x9's kappa series in speaker boxes powered by 2 kicker 4-Channel 75OW amps cost a fortune but its the best for tailgating i also got to keep my back seats in i can just move my speaks when i want

I Voted For Bill and Opus
Take a look at his outfit I don't know anything about them but their price seem to be reasonable.

My recomendation
I bought my 07 SCREW in November and since Christmas have gone through many different components in the system. What I ended up with in my opinion is an extream sounding system!
Here it is:
Eclipse AVN6620 - DVD NAV System
Eclipse Ipod interface
Eclipse Sirius interface
Eclipse/Parrot Bluetooth interface
Eclipse HD radio interface
Rockford Fosgate P4004 powering two sets of JL Audio Components VR650CSi
Rockford Fosgate Punch 300-1 powering a JL Audio 8W3V34 8" sub in the factory sub box
Steering wheel interface control
Rockford Fosgate 1 farad capacitor.
Don't bother looking up prices I'll just tell you now - $3300 including all accessories I needed to install. Pricey but worth every penny.
I previously had an Alpine deck with the P4004 powering Eclipse 5x7's in the doors and a RF M200 powering a RF 12" sub in my 99 F150 and this set blows it away, especially the clarity.
Good Luck

i was hoping somebody could help me, i have a 06 extended cab and i'd like to keep my back seats but i also want a loud system. i mean really really LOUD. i've been into systems for awhile but always had cars so i never ran into a problem with airspace. i'd like to put two 12in kicker l7s. i was thinking of tearing out the back bench seats and throwing a pair of buckets in the back and fabing a center counsel in the back seat. probably with a nice angle to it for show and throwing some black vinyl on it. has anyone seen this? could somebody help me out? i don't even know what two l7s would need for airspace. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!
