Default Electronic Install - Part 1 w/Pics

The first round of my electronics is installed. I thought I would share.
1st. My Kenwood Excelon 8120

Next is the Aux. USB input, where the old factory aux input was.

Next, the Bel-Tronics RX75 remote head.

The RX75 Mute botton.

The RX75 Led indicator, which is two colors and flashes with the alert. Important feature when the ashtray is closed!

I'm happy this phase is finally complete. Lot's more to come, it just takes time and money!

thats awesome... where did you get that radar detector? I've always said I thought some one should take one apart and place different parts in differant areas for concealment... Little did I know they already do that.

Thanks for the kind words.

2001stu,
This one was slightly used by the person who sold Beltronics equipment. These have been around for some time. Actually, there are 3 better/newer models out than this one. However, this one best fit my price range and needs.
The newest one is GPS based, and has a "learning" cpu, to assist in filtering out bad alerts, based on location, from the GPS. It's freak'n awesome, but its 2k.

The overall install is still about 8/10 on my scale. But it works for me, for now. Excited to finally have some stuff installed after day dreaming it up.

All,
Thanks for the props.

Tide,
Of course its not a jammer. After all they're illegal. But that would be a good reason for a stealth install.

Laser jammers aren't illegal, well in most states, but the radar jammers are I believe a felony?
