DO NOT use sony xplodes....they suck. i blew them 2 different times with bass blockers from my blaupunkt radio. And brought them back and i ended up getting something else but i don't remember what i got but they were about $160 a set and could handle 250 watts each. can't tell ya what they are they went with my car when i sold it.

I have a set of polk 10 in a bandpass box with a 1600watt amp....but there is no way it will fit in my single cab. They hit hard me and my friends parked next to each other and see who could shake the other ones mirror. Then we ended up putting a system in his car. it was the kappa 12's we stuck 10 in his trunk in boxes we made and 5 different amps and caps. tuned it to hit really hard the windows were closed.........and the driversside window shattered it was so funny....

or a bazooka or an amped bazooka will fit even if u have a standard cap

Why do you want bass coming from a door speaker when you've got 2 10's??? You should have ALL the bass coming out of the subs and none coming from the doors.

All i asked was what everyone was useing in there doors compared to my pioneers and if there were better speakers for the doors than what i have and if they pumped more bass it'd be a bonus. Why all the Q's with Q's. Such a simple question..I want more bass..from my doors

You dont want any bass coming from your doors???? only high's??? Do you have only tweeters in your doors??? I dont think so. Bass coming from only a rear sub is like mono music to me, kiddie stereo..thats not stereo in my book. If the mirrors aint shakin...you've been taken..is my moto and my doors pump, just wanted to know if there was better speakers out there..simple.

I wasn't angry when I asked that. I'm simply trying to understand why you want to do that. You won't notice the bass coming from the doors due to the subs thumping. And even if you do get bass from the speakers in the doors you'll eventually blow them because when you turn the bass up you'll be turning the subs and the bass on the door speakers up also.

Thats not true..I control the bass and treble with my stereo for the 4 doors and have a remote control to adjust the bass to my infinity amp, i control my sub bass through my amp.. 2 totally different things
