So I have that harness I've stated above.

So, head unit to harness > run remote and rcas to amp > PW from battery to amp > wires from amp to speakers/subs. boom music..

I just don't understand why I would need 12v for my acc....
The factory harness doesn't supply switched power for the HU

So if I run a wire from the fuse box to the 12v wire on the H/U it should fire right up?

Yes to the switched wire.
There is another one that needs to be hooked up to a constant 12V for HU memory etc. The harness supplies that.

I wired up the all the wires accordingly on the harness adapter to the HU wires, but had no power but forgot that I need to make a 12v acc wire last night.

SO the memory wires are attached to the harness to the hu wires. or do I need to make that as well?

Where would I tap into the 12v ACC, should I go from the fuse box or get a wire tap tool?
