Deal of the Week: Kenwood DNX8120
Hello F150 Friends,
My TTT mirrors and bed cover are officially on hold. They were just bumped by a great deal, on a Kenwood Excelon DNX 8120.
I just purchased (April 2 @ 430pm cst) from 6ave.com for $1098 shipped.
I know thats alot of coin for a head unit. But this thing just came out.
$1599 is the listed price on most websites and they've all been out of stock.
Here's how to get the deal:
Call by phone, 6ave.com @ 877 684 2831 ext 8612, ask for Richard R.
He gave me the hook up!
I have no connection to this company. I have never heard of this company before today. Perhaps I will get screwed and the deal may be to good to be true. However, if it is legit, Im just passing on the info.

The Saga Begins (day 2)
Hello F150 Friends,
On day two the Saga begins. As I recieved a phone call this AM from Richard R stating that he would need to cancel my order. As he goes on to explain that Kenwood has placed a recal on these units. It seems that after 30-60 mins of operation the screen goes totally blue.
After some conversation, Richard R stated he would speak with his boss and see if they could keep the order on hold, or back ordered, until they recieved "Good Stock", in effort to honor the price.
A few hours later, I recieved another phone call from Richard R. He stated that he would be able to "hold" my order for an unkown period of time until Kenwood sends good stock. He stated that all other orders were cancelled but mine "would not". As I spoke with Richard R of 6ave.com, I checked my Email.
To my suprise, I opened an Email from 6ave.com stating my order had been cancelled. After further conversation with Richard R, still on the phone as I read this cancellation Email, he states my order # has been noted.
All I have to do is call back when the website shows they are in stock and I'll get the price honored.
In conclusion, its probably too good to be true. But I still have a glimmer of hope. We'll wait and see.

And on day 16...
Hello F150 friends,
On day 16, today, I recieved a call from Robert stating, "The new updated units are in stock, from Kenwood." He asked if I would like my previous order filled if they honored the previous price.
A long story short, I agreed. We swapped info and he stated it would ship on Monday.
Im excited, again. We shall see.

Man I'm glad to here that you got one coming. I've had mine on preorder since the middle of February from wickedcas.com. I got a call it was in at the begining of the month for that call to be followed by another call saying the units were recalled. Now I'm still waiting on some sort of response from them to from out if there back from Kenwood yet. I can't wait for it to come in so I can install it.
