Hello Everyone,
Anyone install one of these HU? Reason I'm asking is because Crutchfield is telling me they don't fit in 2011 F150. I pretty sure I saw a post of someone putting one in a Lariat F150.
Thoughts? Feedback?

I cant imagine why that will not fit.. I put this exact HU in wifes 2006 Mustang... Took 3 days to do all I wanted to do and needed a do hickey to make it play DVD and use Nav while we drive.. I dont watch the DVD when driving so dont jump me about that.. Needed it mostly to be able to put in nav settings without having to pull over... Probably going to have to order the installation kit to install it.. Need to ask is there anything on the canbus you want to be able to talk to the stereo? Sync? steering wheel controls?

Yes I agree with you Gilroy. I was basically going to use the normal functions on the unit. No steering wheel control, no sync. I have alot of trust and faith in crutchfield, have used them for years. I updated my vehicle on their site to 2011 F150 and the double din units all say "fits" your 2011 f150. However when I select the NX501, it says does NOT fit.
