What's everybody's opinion on the lc7i vs doing forscan? Is there any benefit of using the Lc7i in a stock head unit with 7 speakers and no Sony or B&O?
Does doing both help? I'm trying to figure out if the Lc7i will improve the sound quality even more than just using forscan to change the high levels to low levels. I do plan to update all door speakers and add two 8" subs uning 2 amps, one amp for the doors and the other for the subs. Thoughts

I just ditched my LC7 this weekend. I switched over to low level and flattened the EQ through forescan. I had a hiss before with the LC7 that I was able to tweak between the amp and LC7 to "mostly" get rid of. Since taking out the LC7 and making the changes in Forescan, I am getting much better audio and a cleaner set up. I say, no question about it, get rid of the LC7 and Forescan a clean signal!

Just go with the Forescan route trust me.

Whats your budget for the dsp? What features do you want? Whats your tuning skill level? These all play into the dsp I would recommend.

Under $400. I have a installer but they want to use some cheap loc. I know I can use forescan but I wanted to fine tuned the system. Make time delay correct and the sound superior. Keeping non B&O head unit. Focals in the doors and two 8s under the rear seat.

What are you running for amps? And whats your budget for those?
AudioControl, this year, released their D-4.800 and D-6.1200 amps that have their award winning DM-608 DSP built in. It will easily handle everything you listed above all while providing 125 watts a channel to really make your system sing. 30 bands of equalization, signal delay, input delay, polarity adjustment, in put and output RTA's, high to low level conversion, auto EQ, etc. It even has a sub out channel to run to your sub amp. Its a pretty impressive piece of hardware. Manufactured in the USA. 5 year warranty. Phenomenal customer service. And, you kill two birds with one stone.
I would definitely PM HushCarAudio for a price. I purchased 3 AudioControl amps through him along with a bunch of other equipment for my current build and his prices beat anything else I could find. Saved me a ton of money over the course of this project.

I have been talking to Hush about equipment. He suggested 2 Skar amps when I was going to run two 8s. Those two amps combined equal about $250. So if you add that and a Dsr1, maybe I will be close to AC amp

I recommended those Skar amps due to your budget limitations. If you can swing it for the Audio Control new amps with built-in everything then I'd fully suggest going that route. You'll save money and time with less wiring, etc.
