Default Cant decide on speaker

I need to replace my speakers in my 97. I have no idea what to get. I am not a big stereo guy. I just want it to sound good when I turn it up. Who is using what in this body style.

Im assuming youre just talking about the door speakers. The best thing to do is decide how much you want to spend then go to your local audio store e.g. best buy etc. and listen to the different brands and figure out which one sounds best. If youre not hooking up an amp to the speakers or anything like that, then you can't go wrong with any name brand - pioneer, rockford, infinity etc. However, I personally have never liked anything Sony has ever put out for car audio.

Default Can't decide on speaker

I've been an audiophile since I was a kid, I have know idea how I still have good hearing. I love infinity speakers. Just be advised that you'll need a sub woofer to fill in the low end. I've been shopping at crutchfield for years and have nothing but good to say about them. I have a 1999 F150 FTX Extended cab.

He's probably figured that out since they've been in his truck for almost two years!

I just had all 4 6x8 speakers replaced with a set of Kenwood 6x8 speakers and am very happy with the sound quality. The highs and lows are very good in quality. I don't run a amp or anything just my aftermarket Kenwood stereo. I am pleased with the way it cranks now as the sock speakers were blown when I bought the truck.
